3D Designer

KristiesLab is a strategic marketing, communications and experiential agency working with brands across Lebanon, the Gulf and the wider MENA region.

About the role

You will design the spaces our clients’ brands live in: event setups, exhibition stands, activation booths, retail displays and stages. You will produce the 3D models, renders and technical drawings that take a concept from idea to something that can be built.

What you will do

3D modelling and renders

• Build 3D models of events, stands, booths, displays and branded spaces
• Produce realistic renders and walkthroughs for client presentations
• Adjust designs after feedback from the creative lead and the client

Concepts and layouts

• Turn creative concepts and client briefs into spatial layouts
• Adapt one design to different venues, sizes and budgets
• Prepare mood boards, material and finish proposals

Technical drawings and production

• Prepare plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings with dimensions for suppliers
• Check that designs can be built within the budget, time and venue rules
• Work with production, procurement and suppliers during fabrication
• Visit venues for measurements and be on-site during installation when needed

Coordination

• Work with graphic designers on branding and artwork for the space
• Keep files organised, named and versioned correctly

What we are looking for

• 2 or more years of experience in 3D design for events, exhibitions, retail or interiors
• Strong skills in 3ds Max or SketchUp, with V-Ray, Corona or Lumion, plus AutoCAD and Photoshop
• Good understanding of materials, fabrication and how things are built
• A degree in interior architecture, architecture, 3D design or a related field
• Able to work on several projects with tight deadlines
• Good English (Arabic is a plus)
• A portfolio of renders and built projects
